Functional Metabolomics-Precision Medicine-Therapeutic Discovery

Development and Validation of Integrated Metabolomics Methods

Systems biology driven non-targeted and targeted metabolomics methods are explored and exploited to delineate a diversity of biological questions, including diagnosis, pathogenesis and therapeutic discovery of the complex diseases such as T2D, UTIs, and liver cancer.

Dissection of the Pathogenesis of the Complex Diseases

The combinational utilization of metabolomics, RNA modified profiling and genetic strategy are applied  to dissect the pathogenesis of the selected metabolic and infectious diseases, including liver cancer, T2D, and urinary tract infections, as well as associated clinical diagnosis.

Therapeutic Discovery of Small-Molecule Drugs

Metabolomic-genetic-RNA modified strategy is utilized to interrogate the therapeutic mechanisms of the small molecules derived from traditional Chinese medicine to combating the liver cancer, T2D, and urinary tract infections, and promote the development of novel drugs.
